Universal Assessment (screening) with the BIMAS-2

The video demonstrates how to set up a Universal Assessment (screening) window period and how to invite Teachers, Students, Parents to complete the BIMAS-2 rating form.

Classroom teachers completing the BIMAS-2 form.

This video describes the experience of a classroom teacher login and completing the BIMAS-2 standard Form. It illustrates the simplicity of the rating process but also the magnitude of the resulting data offered by the BIMAS-2 dual framework views of behavior (Standard and SEL CASEL based). A classroom teacher serves both as a universal assessment rater but also as an informant in students’ behavior plans (Tiers II and III). They are able to generate individual student reports and share with their students and their parents.

Cohort

The BIMAS-2 cohort feature allow its users to have even greater control on the amount of student emails that can be send to students to complete the BIMAS-2 self-form. The concept was born during the pandemic and the introduction of hybrid instruction where in some cases classrooms or grades were split into smaller groups for remote of face-to-face instruction. In general, however, the concept can be used in any scenario where mental health practitioners wish to do screenings with smaller number of students.
