The Basic Achievement Skills lnventory-2 is a series of norm-referenced and formative achievement assessments that inform learning and guide instruction conveniently in group, individual, or self-administration modes.
The BASl-2 Survey version assesses academic skills quickly and reliably. It is designed for use with students ages 8 to 18 yrs old and adults up to age 80. Math and verbal skills are assessed and can be administered together or independently.
Choose the BASl-2 Survey version to help with the assessment of verbal and math skills when you:
Limited Time: have a limited amount of testing time.
Learning difficulties: In an MTSS/RTi environment. screen for possible academic difficulties.
Screen for giftedness: The Survey content is scaled upwards. allowing gifted students to demonstrate their advanced achievement skills and knowledge.
Career evaluations: Assist with placement decisions. screen for employment counseling.
Correctional settings: Evaluate adolescent and adults at intake and as part of correctional education programs.
The BASI-2 Survey can be administered in 25 minutes for each of the Verbal Skills and Math skills areas. Testing sessions can be scheduled for the Math, Verbal skills or both areas.

The BASI-2 Survey can be administered using the BASI-2 web based platform and also with the traditional paper and pencil approach using the appropriate test booklet and an answer sheet that can be purchased through EduMetrisis. Upon completion of the test session, data can be entered manually by the test administrator. Results can be displayed on the platform’s screen along with the ability to download and print the PDF reports for the Math or Verbal sections of the test.
